Nokia Maps helps you remember where you’ve been, and let your friends know where you’re going. Tagging lets you save the spot on your map as a landmark and then send it to your friends. You can swap hotspots with your favorite contacts, and get the inside track on your city.

Soon, you’ll have a personalized map of all your favorite locations in your Nokia Maps, ready for quick access when planning your route, or to send off at a moment’s notice.

The Save location command is in different context-sensitive menus throughout Nokia Maps. The following procedure is just an example.

1. Browse the map.
2. To open the context-sensitive menu, press the scroll key.
3. Select Save location > As landmark.
4. Edit the name of the landmark if necessary, and select OK.
5. Choose a category for the landmark, and select OK.

You can also take a screenshot of the map – Save location > As image. The image is saved in your device’s default gallery folder.
